What We Do

Once Upon A Lifetime - This is a baby and child photography program that we started about 10 years ago. There are currently several hundred families enrolled. The program usually begins with pregnancy portraits and then four sessions the first year, two the second and third year then eventually once a year when the child starts to school.

Weddings - In recent years the business of wedding photography has gone through some wonderful changes both technically and creatively . About 10 years ago a more relaxed less posed style began to replace the more structured style that was popular. This new attitude in wedding coverage has resulted in albums that tell the story of a wedding day through photographs. In order to tell this story adequately the number of photographs taken at a typical wedding went from around 150 to 750 or more. The hardcore journalistic photographer strictly photographs from an observers viewpoint, nothing posed and no groups. While I am a big fan of journalistic coverage I also understand that group photos are important records of our families' histories and portraits of the bride and groom, when interspersed with the unposed images result in a more visually interesting album. The style of wedding coverage that I have adopted is more of a hybrid between traditional and journalistic.

Beach Portraits - One of the advantages for a photographer to live in Panama City is having easy access to such beautiful natural backgrounds. Most evenings at sunset you will find us at the beach. We could be capturing a three year old playing in the sand or possibly recording 3 or 4 generations of a family relaxing on the beach.

Studio Portraits - We certainly enjoy photographing in a very relaxed informal style but we also love classically posed formal portraiture. Having a studio with the proper equipment and the knowledge that comes from studying portraiture for 20 years offers us the opportunity to create in a very formal style or pursue a more cutting edge look.

Painted Images - Twenty years ago our business was introduced to the community thru our unique version of hand painted black and white portraits that we called Pastel Images. This was a good fit for us because it took advantage of Sherri's abilities as an artist and Chip's abilities as a photographer. We no longer offer Pastel Images but Sherri has recently introduced a new line of painted portraits that we call Painted Images

Senior Portraits and Bridal Portraits - One of the most rewarding opportunities that this business offers us is being able to spend one on one time with individuals, getting to know them while creating the very best portrait possible. This is especially true with seniors and brides. These are important milestones in a persons life and we take it very seriously when we are asked to celebrate this time in portraits.
